Land of bad forest scene

Welcome to "Land of Bad," where the action's so intense it'll make you wish you were on a nice, relaxing beach instead. This military actioner has two heroes, but let's be honest, one of them's carrying the weight of the whole operation while the other's just there for the ride.

First up, we've got Air Force Sergeant J.J. "Playboy" Kinney, played by Liam Hemsworth. This guy's the real deal, bringing the action-packed thunder with every move he makes. He's like a one-man army out there, making you wonder if you should sign up for the Air Force just to be like him (minus all the life-threatening danger, of course).

Then there's Captain Eddie "Reaper" Grimm, played by Russell Crowe. Now, don't get me wrong, Crowe's a great actor and all, but his character's a bit... well, let's just say he's more of a buzzkill than a hero. He's all about drones and computer screens, which is cool and all, but he's not exactly the guy you want by your side when things go sideways.

But hey, at least he's got some comedic moments, like when he's obsessing over his work chair or going on about the wonders of wedding ceremonies. It's almost like he's trying to distract us from the fact that he's not exactly the most exciting guy on the battlefield.

Speaking of the battlefield, "Land of Bad" throws our heroes into some seriously intense situations, like when they're facing off against terrorists who make horror movie villains look like cuddly kittens. These bad guys are as ruthless as they come, torturing hostages and causing chaos wherever they go.

But amidst all the chaos, there are some moments of pure action movie gold, like when Milo Ventimiglia's character takes down a terrorist with a broken dinner plate. Now that's what I call improvisation!

Director William Eubank knows how to deliver when it comes to action scenes, making every explosion and firefight feel like it's straight out of a Hollywood blockbuster. Sure, the movie might drag a bit when it's focusing on Crowe's character, but when it's Hemsworth kicking butt and taking names, you won't be able to look away.

So grab your popcorn and buckle up, because "Land of Bad" might not be perfect, but it's definitely one heck of a ride. Just try not to get too attached to Captain Grimm's drone obsession – you might find yourself wishing for a little less tech and a lot more Hemsworth.
